Though Dumas set a second-best time of the day in a fully-electric Ford SuperVan 4.2, four-time winner Robin Shute was crowned King of the Mountain. The quickest time ever recorded, set by Frenchman Romain Dumas in 2018 went unchallenged. One at a time, each driver attempted to reach the summit for a delicious donut at 14,115 feet above sea level. Divided among six classes, drivers of various motorsports practices got one chance at conquering 156 turns that span 12.4 miles.
